Great place for a short dog walk or a longer experience on the Great North Walk via the Binowee Trail. Have done a bit of both. This fire Trail is easy, with more challenges on the Binowee.

Lovely walking path through the bush with interesting scenery and historical information to read. Seems to be mostly concreted, at least from the Bellamy St end to the Zig Zag Bridge. Up to this point would be doable with a stroller and easy for kids and those unsteady on their feet. This component would likely also be wheelchair accessible, though over the bridge looks quite steep. There was one picnic table I saw, hidden in the bush close to the track, though there is a big step to get into it. A fair few parking spots at the Bellamy St end. Decent direction signage along the path, and access to other parts of the walk which are interesting (running water streams and ponds) but much less accessible.

A very nice park with friendly people. My daughter made three friends soon as she got to the park. Four nice sitting areas to relax ๐
