Nice big park to walk or sit and enjoy the fresh air.
There are some cricket nets and a fenced off dog park as well.
Plenty of shade trees too.

Kids love this park! Large flat paved area for bikes and scooters. Large equipment in good shape. Amenities, parking, new shelters/tables and BBQs. There’s a surprising amount of green space to explore – it just keeps going!

This is a massive, hilly park. It’s great for younger and older children. There are flat areas for the younger children to scoot and coast on balance bikes as well as hills for older children on pedal bikes. The playground area has a variety of features that are accessible to children of differing abilities. Pack a lunch. If you arrive during peak hours, you will likely have to park on the road because the carpark is quite small. There is an amazing lookout tower if you are happy to hike up the stairs.

A suspicious lack of huts but an abundance of bark. Also barks, there is a great off-leash dog park across the road. Great playground, field and new basketball court. I grew up here so I might be biased but 5/5 anyway

Great medium sized park for the kids, there is a couple of different types of equipment for playing, not overly busy most times. Ample parking literally adjacent to the playground. The flying fox is the highlight in my opinion👍

The play ground equipment is puzzling! The small slide there is no way a small kid can climb the chained wall to get up. The other equipment your kids better be physically fit to be able to use. At least they got 4 swings

A really magnificent looking park! I loved it since it’s fresh grass and there’s good shade, also public bathrooms.
The bridges only add to it, but gives good access to Canterbury station and food and places to walk around.
Negatives:
– the bathrooms don’t look that great
– lots of seagals
– trains go over the bridge (noise) but there is a padestrian bridge

Very nice playground with cool equipment. Definitely loving the rock climbing equipment and the “pirate ship”esque rocking boat. Theres a great trail for parents which strolls along the river. To top it off, there ample parking, shaded by nice big bushy trees. A gem in canterbury

It’s a beautiful park by the riverside which is biggest plus to any beautiful park as this.
Nature and greenery by cooks river side is undescribable, there are play areas and park either side. Usually quiet, calm, river rafting seen rarely but cycling and walking happens every moment.
Towards station side it is rush push and tall apartments and commercial buildings, across the other side Sugar Mill apartment and street adjacent is villas and serene beauty in quiet nature of greenery. Rainy days in this garden, park or riverside makes it a hit.
