Clyde is a suburb in Sydney, located on the Upper North Shore. It is about 23km from the Sydney CBD and has an Australian Bureau of Statistics population of 1247 people. The area was originally known as ‘Maroota’, but after World War II it was renamed Clyde to honour Lieutenant-Colonel John Clive Edwards who served with distinction at Tobruk during the war. The famous architect Walter Burley Griffin designed many buildings in Clyde NSW 2142 including St Martin’s Presbytery which opened for worship on Christmas Day 1908.
This charming suburb offers residents a quiet and leafy environment, with plenty of parks and reserves to enjoy. There are also some great local businesses including a well-stocked IGA, bakery, café, and bottle shop. Clyde is well serviced by public transport with buses running frequently to the CBD and other surrounding suburbs. It’s easy to see why this picturesque suburb is so popular with families and young professionals alike!

Clyde has recently undergone significant change as it prepares for population growth due to its proximity to major employment areas such as Macquarie Park (home of Microsoft). The State Government Environment Minister announced in March 2013 that $700 million would be spent on housing infrastructure projects in Clyde over an eight-year period which will include new schools, roads, and community facilities.
Clyde is a great choice for anyone looking to settle in one of Sydney’s most desirable suburbs, with easy access to the CBD and plenty of amenities including cafés, restaurants, and shops. Clyde also has its own train station (so no more worrying about traffic jams!) – perfect!

It was a very nice hotel. Good room and good price. Buffet was ok (but no pastries on offer). The pool was good. Unfortunately on the Saturday evening there were a large group of people (all same group) partying at the pool. They had buckets of chicken chips and glass bottles of alcohol and they were playing really loud music. Their kids were leaving rubbish on the poolside so it was just floating in the pool. Bit gross and the glass bottles left on the pool coping was dangerous. The signs said no food or glass in the pool area so I think the management of the hotel should have controlled this. We just had a quick dip and went.

Always feels like a 5-star hotel experience staying here. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very modern, always clean, comfortable beds and great views! If travelling anywhere near the Paramatta region in Sydney – this hotel should be your #1 go to!

We did the Christmas Day buffet. The food was amazing. So much to choose from, it was delicious. The value was excellent and no Christmas prep or washing up.
I was disappointed to find that all the leftover food was thrown out. I’m sure there is a reason why it can’t be kept for people who don’t have any food but in a world where we are trying to be concious of sustainability and poverty it just didn’t seem right.

Amazing hotel. I stayed for 11 days and I really didn’t want to check out. The customer service is top notch and Coco is the BEST! She is down to earth and would help you with everything. The breakfast in the restaurant is like all you can eat buffet. I remember a waitress telling me I can eat as much as I like/want. Hands down the best customer and hotel services. Everyone who works here is great. Customer services at it finest.
Thanks Coco and the Nesuto team of staffs. Appreciate you all. Keep up the good work.

The facility was wonderful. Clean rooms, wonderful location and good facilities.
The only thing the management can improve upon is to waive off the parking fee. It is kinda spoiler.

The customer service is great. We had a problem with the air conditioning. I think it wasn’t serviced for a long time and it was leaking. The carpet floor was so wet. It wasn’t safe for my little boy so We changed rooms. But then on the other hotel room it was still leaking. I hope the management will do something else because it happened twice.

I have stayed at APX Parramatta for several months. The room is great. The staff are friendly and efficient and always very helpful. The loft room I am in is perfect. 2 levels, with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room , all air conditioned , plus bathroom with washer and dryer.. Car Parking is available in a secured basement. The rates are very very reasonable considering the value you receive.
Location is perfect. Nearby supermarkets, food outlets, transport, and the M4 make the location ideal.
I would highly recommend APX Parramatta, especially for those that require a room much larger than a traditional hotel room, with the added benefits of being a fully furnished apartment with full kitchen and cooking utensils.

We were booked for two nights for a two bedroom apartment.
We arrived here around 0845 pm. After checking in, we were greeted by a couple of cockroaches at the door to the apartment building. When we entered the apartment, it smelled like a dead animal in the space. Upon investigation we found cracked eggs under the fridge which were not cleaned, possibly for days. The bathrooms had hair and dirt throughout and the sofas and linen are stained.
The reception is not manned after-hours (we had to wait for 20 mins for our keys to be issued) so we could not call someone right away for cleanup. However, reading this establishment’s online reviews, I wouldn’t think changing apartments in APX would have helped.
Our kids were extremely tired and it was late in the evening. As a result, reluctantly we stayed at the place that night. We left the next morning cutting short our two days booking by a day. We booked at another serviced apartment in Macquarie Park.

Their cars are the worst, paid over 500$ for a car which is not even in good condition, the staff says it’s normal. The management is not even in a state to listen to the customer concerns, very poorly managed. Please avoid going there for any car rentals and the management should be changed of their rude behaviour. Not sure what the other hertz dealerships are like. I will be happy if someone from the higher management contacts us and discuss this further.

This place is excellent for Indian style Chinese food. I love indian chinese and have tried other places as well. But this place is the best among all and has improved over the years. Prices are very reasonable. Cost you about $15 to $20 a head for a good dinner. I am a regular visitor to this place. Love their food. I am not paying top dollar so cannot expect top decor or top service. But food quality and quantity are excellent.
I am a regular customer here and went again on Sat 29/05/2021. The place has maintained its excellent standards and quality and quantity of food. Best Indian style Chinese food in Sydney. I cannot understand why they have not raised their prices? Can easily add $1 to each dish. Will still be cheap. Keep it up staff and management of this place. All the best.

I visited the store with information on the in wall speakers I was using at the time. I was given good and honest advice on what I would need to turn my system from ok to really good.
I had little knowledge and could have easily been oversold. It was even recommended that I keep two of the existing speakers.
The result far exceeded my expectations and didn’t blow my budget.
I will definitely be returning.

Used Digital Cinema twice now. Both times I have had exceptional service. First time my amp & speakers were posted to me very quickly.
Second time I went into the store & not only did I get great service but also got shown how to set my amp up correctly. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Absolutely horrendous staff – only go there if you are willing to get insulted. If you are by chance visiting the store to see your options, don’t expect any service. They are only interested in people willing to buy straight away. The staff doesn’t understand the word “courtesy” – may be they never learned it.
Never again – I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Thank you very much Maureen for your excellent customer service. Cheers.

Absolutely incredible team working here.
Whatever you’re doing Scorptec, keep it up.
Have purchased off you for years…but this recent experience just reset the bar for everyone else.
RAM was slowly dying… purchased a replacement and RAM actually died later that day.
Messaged Scorptec through Amazon asking if they could expedite this explaining my circumstances
(Totally understanding and half expecting that nothing could really be done mid pandemic with delays etc…)
Item arrived within 48hours alongside the extra components I wasn’t in a rush for. Could not be happier.
Thank you so much Scorptec, incredible service, competitive prices.
Arguably the best PC shop in Australia. Period.

I bought a Gigabyte Aorus 360mm AIO Cooler from my friend last year and recently I got a noise issue for the pump.
I email them to get the warranty service with the tax invoice and they denied warranty service because I’m the second owner 🤷
I’m buying a parts a lot as I have a small shop however I never heard about these kinds of warranty policy.
all good. I followed your company policy.
I asked my friend to send a email to them last week as he is the first owner but they never answer me 😇
I may have to contact to the gigabyte directly and write all the story of this company.
I didn’t even buy many items from this company as their service & price was not the great compare to any other retailer(mwave, msy, umart) but I will try never buy anything from here and tell all my friends to avoid scorptec.
Never again.

I guess the worst subway in the entire NSW , they don’t change their gloves after taking money and change from the previous customer, dive straight into making sub for the next customer ! I ordered a veg and non veg subs and they first put in the 2 veges I told them not to and then started taking them out from the sandwich with their hand which was disgusting , then on telling them to make a new one they still handed me 2 non vegetarian subs and messed up my order and some one else’s too by giving them my veggie delight . I don’t know what was the hurry when there were only 2 customers there in the store . Highly unprofessional practise and body language !

This place can hinestly be a hit and miss, being a franchise there are multiple chains that I have visited and each chain has different employees who prepare meals different ways. This place should have management stop over to ensure the meal is prepared for the customer properly. We experienced the Rolls being put together quite messy when closing it they barely bothered to correctly tuck the vegetables in correctly while closing the roll over, causing it to fall apart when opening it to consume. Little more effort would definitely need to be put in.

Worst subway in Sydney hands down!!! Tomatoes were old and had a rotton smell and taste. I was over charged $3 by the owner because I requested him to put more then 5 pieces of olives on my sub!! I had to ask 4 times for more olives before getting very bad attitude from him. What a joke!
Do not come here! My roll ended up in the bin!

Besides the elderly asian bloke, most of the staff here seem grumpy. They operate off the assumption that most of their customers “can’t follow simple instructions”, so right from the outset they’re very negative. And when I say simple instructions, I mean to the absolute smallest detail (so don’t expect them to operate like any business you normally visit). The overweight guy behind the counter (the one that answers the phone/emails) in particular is quite rude.
They’ve also made it very clear that their club is full and they don’t want/need any new members. Recommend going elsewhere and trying to find a more welcoming and less elitist environment.

The last time we visited this place back in March 2020, it was already great.
Today we picked up whole chicken meal, OMG, it was so filling.
The three of us was stuffed and even have leftovers. Decent sized portion.
Queue was really long and people still waited, being sure to keep our distances. Some of us was still wearing a mask in this close to 40 degrees heat! But some chose not to, since it’s no longer compulsory!
Other than that, I’m more than happy to wait for awesome and tasty food.

One of the worst delivery experiences
I ordered a fridge and paid delivery and paid for the unpacking. On the day of delivery the driver called my phone 4 times in the space of 2minutes when I was working (client facing role) and then when I called back 20minutes later they said they had already left and that I had to call up Good Guys to book again. They didn’t even attempt to deliver the fridge. Be warned The Good Guys will try to charge you for another fee if they didn’t deliver it the first time. Im still shocked at the fact they will try to double charge for a delivery that wasn’t even attempted the first time.
The staff member at The Good Guys who took my phone call to rebook the delivery didn’t even try to listen to me and blamed me for not picking up my phone and giving bad instructions when their sales staff didn’t even explain to me what they wrote on the instructions.
The fridge was delivered the next day and the driver was rude and asked us to go down to the loading dock to direct him because he said he didn’t want to waste time walking around looking for our premise. He loaded the fridge in our premise and then didn’t unpack the fridge or remove the rubbish even though we had paid for the service.
I’d give negative stars if I could. Definitely don’t recommend anyone to use their delivery drivers. You’re paying $75 for someone to drive a truck who may or may not deliver your goods. Terrible customer service!

Nice big store with many products and displays. Staff are helpful but you may or may not be approached so you’ll need to be proactive if you’re there for a quick shop. Shop is located close to car parking so transporting bulky items isn’t a big hassle. Clubbed with other home maker shops so can do all your shopping in one place if you’re renovating or setting up a new place.
