One of our favourite place during hot day! And not too far from home.. Have BBQ area, toilet and good spaces. Maybe bring some tent/big umbrella for shade if you go there on busy time.

Big area for running, jumping, climbing, sliding and splashing. Council could add some more play equipment and sitting arrangements to make it more inviting. Beautiful waterfront. Has nice view.

I really like Ryde Park it’s beautiful there. The only issue I have is that people at the dog park need to educate themselves about dog behaviour. Maybe some lessons for them not their dogs.

Huge fenced park. Great place for dogs to run around. However if it’s used for soccer, dogs can’t use the park.

Cute little park. Toys suitable for 2.5 to 6. If you are let down by the Hunters Hill council revamp of the Buffalo Creek playground then this is a safer and better choice!

Excellent park with lead free area for dogs – rehabilitation programs underway and a habitat of the keystone species – the Grey headed Flying Fox
Be sure to do some research to inform yourself of these animals that are critical to the environment before enjoying seeing the endangered and diminishing colony and if your lucky watch their evening fly out,
A lot of their roosting trees have been cut down by H H council and residents want them gone but as they have no where else to go in the ever diminishing environment (a migratory species and they were here before European settlement) be sure not to disturb them as they sleep – for saftey NEVER Ever touch a Bat

A fun park to visit with the kids. They have a little cubby house, a flying fox, climbing and swinging stuff and other cool things for the little ones in the family to play with. Definitely worth visiting this park if you’re in the greater area. Bring a picnic or takeaway coffee when you visit so you can relax while the kids burn off steam.
