Very little shelf stock and limited choices.

It’s not retail and they don’t stock items for general public and is only for trades. Every store is a franchise , and hence no one knows what the other franchise would sell. Not organised at all like bunnings.

Awesome people working here. The customer service was excellent. The grounds are well kept by me. Rubbish is removed. Staff are friendly, approachable and professional.
They have a huge selection of tools both trade and domestic friendly.
If you don’t have it these guys will. Also that lawn is well looked after.

Made a note from the website as to which “aisle” my required hardware item could be found so that wasn’t an issue. But the website also shows which numbered “bay” the item was in – and I’ve never yet ( in ANY Bunnings) seen any bay which is numbered. The aisles are long so it would be very helpful to be able to quickly find the relevant bay. Ot am I missing something?

Bunnings is always a good experience as far as options go, there is literally everything you need. We were shopping for plants and having no idea what we were doing we needed a little help. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that there are not many staff around so you have to walk around trying to find someone to ask questions. There was a real lack of staff members on the floor, otherwise a good experience.

I bought an air nail gun and was very disappointed with their service. It has been nearly five days and they havent dispatched the item. Tried calling about a dozen times and email a couple of times but never got a response. This is my first and last time I will ever purchase an item from Edisons. Extremely poor service. You will be better off to pay a little bit more and buy from other well known hardware and tool shops.

Terrible service , enquiring about spare parts for a generator , gave believed model no. And photos and specs of parts , first email was ignored , second email following up they asked all the same questions of information given in first email , third email asked the same again , just giving me the run around as I think the sales person was just to lazy to go and look and check for the parts I’d given details and photos of ! Was trying to support an Australian Business , but seems like they don’t care unless your buying expensive items thru there automated ebay system , (of which I will now never use or recommend) Good luck with you unsupportive business model , if you don’t want to support or serve customers wanting to buy parts, what makes you think they’ll want to buy or recommend people buying expensive products from you ? Stay away !

Edison using Hunter Express! the worse delivery transport Company ever ! Edison Knew the Problem , but not willing to help their own Customers! disapointed All Round! Hunter Express Rudes, Their Driver not Communicated with Their Office instruction!
& Hunter Express would not care Of how The Customers Feel about it Service. If it does its shoudl make the Driver to accontable for the Delivery ! but its only care about itself and not the Customers ” All Round DIsapointed””

Amazing layout, you can enter in from either the garden section or the main entry.

The staff are lovely to deal with, and gave great instructions to find something. If I couldn’t find they recommended other places

I don’t know what it is about every Bunnings that I go into, but it takes me hours just to find the simplest things. Honestly, you have to look in EVERY aisle just to find a box of screws. Such a pain. You’d think I would have figured out where everything is seeing as I go in there just about every other week

I went to exchange a product that was not in stock in another store. Katherine at the special orders counter quickly sorted out everything and even walked with me to help me load the bulky item in my car. Well done and thanks.

I recently spoke to Shaun from Penrith Stratco … He was wonderful !!! He was polite and very knowledgeable about the fencing product I was after. Popped into the branch (again serviced by Shaun) and before I knew I we had everything ordered, ALL my questions answered (I had quite few) and left feeling great about my project. Thank you Shaun … great service ????

Sean Croker the manager here was amazing at helping me and my partner out. We had no idea what we were looking at but with his help we cane to understand the products and what would work for us best. Most helpful person in a shop Ive ever dealt with. 100/100 will come again as long as Sean is there 🙂

Came into the store looking for help with the idea of building a Deck at our place, and we lucky stumbled onto Sean, Truly amazing help , amazing knowleadge and the know-how. Not only did he know about decks, i also asked him about our door furniture and guess what, he knew all about that aswell! such a great help, highly recommended. Would Definitely come back again.

Bought 2x HD Mega 60 Cabinets. Lots of parts as very broken down for delivery purposes but comes together very square and strong. Packaging provided awesome protection in transit. Must also praise Cope Transport who handled the items with great care. Totally satisfied with product. Thankyou!

Bought Maxim 72″ wood top storage bench. The quality is what they say it is – brilliant. Good customer service. You get better quality than what the cost indicates, Just takes assebly work, which if you are like me you enjoy. Could not be happer. And it looks fabulous in real life.

Purchased a Lincoln air compressor from this store got it home went to use it and found it to be leaking from the tank. Rang up and they offered no help regarding warranty at all, initially were meant to call me back which never happened. Then when i rang a second time the staff member relayed my conversation with the staff member in charge of warranty. Refused to offer a refund despite product only being a day old, just wanted to send away for repairs no consideration that I live 1.5 hrs away. Never again will I shop with these rip offs. This stores staffs are useless and company’s warranty policy isn’t great either Buyers beware.

Bought a retractable hose reel and from new the thing never retracted, I took it back to the store I purchased it from with receipt and said I wasn’t happy with the item, can I return and pay more to get a better one. I was told I could not return it because it had been used, how would I know if it doesn’t work if I don’t use it.
I won’t be spending anymore of my hard earned with them

Purchased a gasalert (honeywell product) 12 months ago & started to not work. Contacted Sydney Tools Penrith & couldn’t give me any info AT ALL as to how I go about getting it serviced. Contacted Sydney Tools Brookvale, they were a bit more helpful & gave me a Honeywell number. Eventually found out the process through a Honeywell branch in VIC who advised the product has a 2 years warranty therefore Sydney Tools should have organised the service. Very disappointed in Sydney Tools.
