One of our favourite place during hot day! And not too far from home.. Have BBQ area, toilet and good spaces. Maybe bring some tent/big umbrella for shade if you go there on busy time.

Big area for running, jumping, climbing, sliding and splashing. Council could add some more play equipment and sitting arrangements to make it more inviting. Beautiful waterfront. Has nice view.

Located in the quiet Abbotsford suburbia, this park is nice and has both features of BBQ picnic friendly park and children playground.
Nearby water shore is also accessible when the tide is low.
Parking is rather challenging in the adjacent street due to nearby quarantine reserve park.

Easy stunning walk with small hills if you’re walking from the Meadowbank side. There’s a lot of greenery along the way. Plenty of places to have a picnic. They have benches and also BBQ areas. Plenty of parks along the way. I like to watch to sunset from here as well. There’s shaded areas to keep you cool during summer.

It’s a beautiful place. There is access to a ferry wharf and a park. It’s a lovely area to have a picnic or go on an afternoon stroll. Great place to take the kids… also one of the best places in my opinion to go fishing during the afternoon. Overall a great area..

Beautiful design playground with sea view and a nice little sandy shoreline with lots of sea shells for the children to discover (I wouldn’t recommend for swimming though). Be cautious the rocks are very slippery, my children slipped and got few cuts from the rocks.
Covered BBQ area and toilet nearby is perfect for a children birthday party.
The only thing that can be improved is they should add canvas shade to cover the playground, it is quite hot on a sunny day.

Fantastic little piece of paradise, it has been upgraded with decent paths, stairs/ramps and a great playground for young and old kids. Still has that hidden among the gumtrees feel whilst overlooking either a quiet (still natural foreshore) at yaralla estate or on the other side the hustle and bustle of parramatta river and all the boats and ferries. Always loved this park

Prince Edward Park foreshore contains remnant Coastal Saltmarsh and is an important stopover point for the Bar-tailed Godwit. Please keep your dog on-leash when you are here and see these birds. They are exhausted and need to refuel on their 11,000km flight from Siberia to New Zealand!

The waves as dark as midnight
Sleek and wavy, trailing down.
They splash as pale as moonlight
Projects a silvery glow all around.
The night so cool and quiet,
As the stars twinkle in the sky.
And all of nature stands in awe,
As this beauty passes by.”
This was the experience we encountered one evening at this park.
