There are many factors to consider when trying to decide whether or not a certain area is right for your family. One of the most important things to think about is the quality of schools in the area. Another thing to consider is crime rates and how safe the neighbourhood feels. Finally, you will want to take into account things like access to parks and other recreational facilities. In this blog post, we will take a look at Panania, NSW and see how it stacks up against these important criteria!
Some of the best schools in the state are located in Panania. If you are looking for a good education for your children, this is definitely the place to be. There are both public and private schools available, so you should be able to find something that fits your budget.
Schools here have a good reputation and are known for providing high-quality education.
Panania is a relatively safe area. There is always a crime in any large city, but the overall crime rate here is lower than average. This is definitely something to consider if you are looking for a place to raise your family.
One of the best things about living in Panania is the social aspect. There are always things to do and people to meet. There are a variety of clubs and organizations that you can join, so you should be able to find something that interests you.
If you have kids, there are also plenty of activities for them to take part in. You will never have to worry about them getting bored!
One of the factors parents often consider when moving is the weather. Luckily, Panania has great weather! It is sunny and warm most of the year, with a few rainy days here and there. This is perfect for families who want to spend time outdoors.
There are plenty of parks and recreational facilities in Panania. This is great news if you have young children, as they will have plenty of places to explore and play. There are also many activities available for families, so you should never find yourself bored!
The parks and recreation facilities are definitely one of the best things about living in Panania.

Nice flat park but poorly maintained by council. Grass and weeds could be rampant before they come to mow. They’ve even demolished the brick building next to it. All that remains is a picnic table gazebo that Parkrunners use every Saturday. Such a shame as this park has potential for better things, however, it does flood badly (ankle deep) if we get too much rain.

Great place to walk, ride your bike or bring a rug & find a quiet spot to relax, we walked & spoke with others, we also sat on the grass twice to relax & enjoy the scenery, lots of benches & tables & great seating that overlook the river, also saw people fishing from the river

We love the park. The river was enticing. There was so much space, the grass was thick and sitting down on it was very comfortable. There were enough parking and so close to the ground that we didn’t have to walk far. Overall, the experience was fabulous. I would recommend it to my family and friends. God bless.

Very quiet, I’ve only seen people in the park once. Basic play equipment, large grass area with netball hoops on the grass.
Mostly fenced off.

Good fields but needs an upgrade on the kids playground… So many families with children the park could be much better.

A better than average softball park. On site parking is a bit limited but there appears to be adequate street parking available. Amenities for players and spectators are satisfactory.

Kelso Park itself is large and open. During the summer its lovely here however in the winter and after rain, it gets absolutely saturated to the extent that walking on the grass you get soaked. We like to walk our dogs round here and the enclosures are very good for having a contained area for off leash. Just a shame that a small minority of people abuse this and don’t pick up after their dogs resulting in people frowning, commenting and even asking us to leave the areas. Kelso Park would be a great place to have a dedicated off leash enclosure for dogs with sufficient bins provided around it. Unfortunately the staff at kelso are half to blame for dog litter as they lock the bins up so you can’t put your dogs poo in them.

I like this little park. Took our 5 yo Grandson here today, but he said there weren’t enough things to play on, so we had to go to one in Victor Avenue

The best park in the area which has a great playground, picnic and toilet facilities as well as a colony of ducks in the little creek. Unfortunately, the Council has not put shade over the playground so in the warmer months it is much too hot to use. This park is used by a large number of preschoolers abd their carers all year round.

Great reserve for summer – lots of trees for shade, public toilets and access to the river. What a gem, and less busy than other parks in the area! It would be great to see the playground upgraded.
