The need for art galleries is growing. This has been seen in recent years with more and more artists coming into prominence, and artistic communities forming around them. Art galleries are a necessity to show these works of art off to the public, allowing people from all walks of life to visit them, appreciate what they see, and acquire pieces that will inspire their own creative expressions.
If you are visiting or live in Beaconsfield, NSW, here are some great galleries that you should visit.
This gallery has been open since 1997 and is one of the most highly respected in Sydney. It showcases both Australian and international artists, with a focus on contemporary art.
This is a must-visit for anybody interested in the arts.
This is a gallery that has been around since 1985 and features an eclectic range of art from all different parts of Australia, as well as some international artists. This makes it perfect for anyone looking to get variety when visiting galleries near Beaconsfield. It also exhibits contemporary pieces alongside older works which can be great if you want to see how what was popular many years ago compared to now.
Another great gallery in Sydney is Bennelong Fine Art. This one carries a wide variety of pieces from all different artists, with an emphasis on Australian works and emerging talent. This is another great one to visit if you are looking for some variety when it comes to art galleries near Beaconsfield.
This gallery is a little bit different in that it focuses exclusively on Australian Aboriginal art. This can be great for anyone who wants to learn more about the culture and history of Australia’s first people. It also has a wide variety of pieces, so you’re sure to find something that catches your eye.
These are just four of the many great art galleries near Beaconsfield. No matter what your interests are, there is sure to be at least one gallery near you that will cater to them. So get out there and explore!

The playground has something for kids of all ages, right down to crawlers. It is fully fenced and has large shade cloths.
This park is a little oasis of happiness 🌿☀️

Very nice little park. Has a children’s play area.
Not much seating to speak of so best to bring a rug or the like
Parking can be a bit problematic..

Nice little park behind all the hustle and bustle with two cafes near by. Dog friendly but not gated. Big trees around the perimeter so lots of areas that are shady to choose from. Some construction happening at the moment for some upgrades and just FYI, right hand side is quite bumpy so may take a little while to get comfortable for a nap! 😂

Awesome park. Has two playgrounds. One for smaller kids and second one for bigger ones. Plus it has a fountain that children can safely run through.

Very family friendly. The grounds are well maintained by Sydney City Council. There are free BBQ’S available. There are Tennis Courts you can hire, a small basketball area , cricket enclosed area as well. also a dedicated children’s play area.
You get quite a few dogs being walked around and some off leash.
There is a cafe across the road opens early closes fairly early as well.
The biggest let down is that there are only 1 men’s & women’s toilet available and more often than not the female one is out of order.

Just wish it was bigger. This is predominantly an off-leash dog park with a playground, but not much else. It’s central to the big high-rise apartments on the area, so the neighbourhood puppies come here as one of their only local options. It’s well kept, but the grass is often ripped up by the dogs.

This park is beautiful, so much activity is happening around this park. Sports ground, cafe, kids playing area and water pounds etc.
This park is looked after very well by the council. Let me know what you think? Is there any favourite activity?

Picturesque in the spring time when the Jackarandas blossom.
A cute little kids playground and a nice spot for a picnic. There’s actually some interesting history behind this park. Have a read of all the little plaques about the place. Fascinating.

They just built in new courts! Nice and spacious place, staff there are generally friendly. There seems to be a few issues with dustiness on the court unfortunately, might be related to the heavy winds we had on the day. It’s also pretty stuffy inside when it’s humid, but there has definitely been worse courts for those kinds of problems. I’d love if there was dedicated parking too.
All things considered, good spot to get some exercise in and hire fresh courts.

There’s some fantastic street gym equipment there, mostly various types of bars but it’s all only 18 months old so in great condition. The playground is good for smaal children. Doesn’t get too busy, other than in lock down when the gyms are closed.

A wonderful park full of lots of near new equipment. Probably one of the best equipped park in the area, besides Sydney Park. Also has a half basketball court, and lots of new calisthenic equipment for adults too. Some people wont like the fact that it’s surrounded by housing commission though. But your not one of those latte sipping, better than everyone, coalition voting tossers are you?

Sydney Park has evolved.. it feels smaller now but it’s not… It’s got lots of paths and places to sit and enjoy time alone or with others. Tye playground has been updated and has had a skate area installed too. The grounds are now more crowded with nooks and curves and places to help feel like your not in the congestion area of Sydney. .. in the middle a lot of effort has gone to the waterfalls and wetlands.
Impressive. Something for everyone and great dog walking
