If you’re looking for things to do in Belmore, NSW, you’re in luck. This vibrant suburb has something for everyone! From parks and playgrounds to restaurants and shopping precincts, Belmore has something to keep you entertained. In this blog post, we will take a look at some of the best places to visit in Belmore. So put on your walking shoes and let’s get started!
There are plenty of places to watch a movie in Belmore. The local cinema is the perfect place to catch the latest blockbuster, or you can head to one of the many outdoor screening venues dotted around the suburb. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not pack a picnic and head to Belmore Park for an alfresco film screening under the stars?
Belmore is home to a number of shopping precincts, so you’re sure to find what you’re looking for. For fashionistas, check out Station Street where you’ll find plenty of boutique stores selling unique clothes and accessories. Or if you’re after something more upmarket, head to Centenary Square where there are plenty of high-end retailers. For those who love a good bargain, The Promenade is the place to go. Here you’ll find discount stores, department stores, and supermarkets.
Belmore has some beautiful parks where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. One of our favourites is Belmore Park, which features a playground, basketball court, and barbecue facilities. If you’re looking for something more nature-based, head to Lakemba Wetlands Reserve or Haberfield Park. Both parks are home to walking tracks, wetlands areas, and native Australian flora and fauna.
The Cooks River Trail is a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike. This linear parkland stretches for over 20 kilometres, from Sydney Olympic Park all the way to Botany Bay. The trail is perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride, and there are plenty of stops along the way where you can rest, picnic, or go for a swim.
Canterbury Road is one of the main streets in Belmore and it’s definitely worth taking a stroll down it. This vibrant road is home to a number of shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as some historic buildings. Start at Belmore station and walk all the way down to Centenary Square – you won’t be disappointed!
So there you have it – our guide to things to do in Belmore. We hope you enjoy exploring this wonderful suburb!

I was left speechless at the lack of empathy and customer service received today. This is the second time where I had witnessed such contempt directed at customers from the concierge and security. I was left baffled and disappointed in the end. The concept of good customer service is long gone when you hear the following āthatās not my jobā, āread and look at the instructions on the wallā and āI donāt want to die from Covid because sheās standing close to meā is not appropriate and acceptable. It is simply woeful and left me shaking my head in bewilderment. I highly recommend a thorough review left behind by customers as Iām sure thereās an endemic problem within.

Went there when my daughter’s school had graduation dinner. Had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, very tasty and good portion. Before dinner, we had some beers at the outdoor area. Very pleasant place.

Not good range as of now.. Price higher than outside dealers on fixed price vehicles. Many vehicles batteries were dead and need jump start (means not maintained properly). Bidding might get you benefit but not much cars available for bidding..

Very nice staff. Good cars and prices are reasonable.
Like other dealers, you still need to be 100% careful with the financials, however most of them are very helpful and respectful.
Because of Covid you need to buzz or ring once you are there and then they will let you in.
Have worked twice with them and am really happy with their customer service.

Extortion – $300 to sign up, once money received – medication worth $50 sent and then zero contact. Funds @ $300 are automatically deducted from your account monthly. If you are lucky enough to get hold of someone and you explain that they have not provided what you have paid for – you are asked if you are feeling anxious and stressed…avoid at all costs

Very poor customer serviceā¦ only keen to talk to you until you give your details and pay for a subscription, after that it is virtually impossible to get hold of anyone if you have any questions/problems.
I would not recommend this service, find a reliable GP and go through them.

Just came back from my first time visiting this store, I’m honestly impressed with the product range (especially the snacks!!) and the staff were super friendly. They have stuff other department stores don’t, and while I like Kmart for their homebrand, BigW has more international brands at cheap prices. Will definitely be coming back.

Under the statutory Declarations Act 1959, I could sign documents before a person who is currently licensed or registered under a law to practice in 12 listed occupations, and pharmacist is one of them.
On 28 March 2021 (Sunday), I went to this Chemist Warehouse branch, hoping to get a statutory declaration done before a pharmacist on a paper that urgently needed to be certified.
Despite it was on Sunday, at that particular time when I was there, It was quiet, not a single person waiting to be serviced by the prescription counter/ area.
Hence I approached a female pharmacist to express my purpose of visit.
She told me they are not doing it.
I inquired reason(s).
She expressed that during COVID pandemic, they choose not to offer this service to the public.
I could not find the correlation between COVID and the reasonable excuse to reject and certify a document.
I inquired further- was that ONLY this branch? OR the whole chemist warehouse network throughout Australia’s corporate policy/ instruction?
“Only this branch! It’s the branch manager’s policy! You could go elsewhere!” And she turned her face away from me.
BRAVO! chemist warehouse Campsie!
Rejection? I could accept it.
Who hasn’t been rejected in their life before after all, right?
If they had explained to customer in a much friendlier way, I wouldn’t have posted this terrible experience of mine on the Google review.
Thumb down to this branch!
Hope the service level will improve in the near future

I was shocked to see the level of customer service. Sorry but I have to mention the name Amanda. Her body language was extremely rude with every customer. Never experienced this before from Lakemba ALDI.she should get this feedback as she canāt be the reason for teamās failure.

Definitely not the same Jasmin restaurant. If you don’t know Arabic food you may like this but certainly very disappointing. Foul and lamb pieces were terrible. Homus and falafel were OK. But why would you eat here? Traditional breakfast always has tea. Guess what they don’t have tea. Obviously not owned by Arabic people. Find a better option guys. In addition decor is so outdated. I should have figured out the poor quality when I noticed it was empty..

Very famous and popular buffet in the area! When you enter you have to pay first at the counter and then you can eat as much as you want from the buffet. The workers don’t specifically tell you where you can sit but if you’re in twos and you sit at a six person table then it’s common sense that they will tell you to move. You can go here with family or for lunch as it is a lunch time buffet. They have a variety of different food choices to fruits and simple dessert choices to meat dishes and noodles and rice, they also have salads. The ‘waiters’ collect empty plates as soon as you’re done eating. The people working there refill any empty foods so you can always refill your plates. A reminder is don’t take your used plate back up to the buffet, its rude and sort of unhygienic. 5 stars because it’s absolutely worth your money. Just as long as you aren’t on a diet.

Great Service from this Company!
Traded our older Giotto machine for the new Bellezza Gulia.
Great machine to use, looks fantastic and of course makes a great coffee!
The new flip levers for steam and hot water work a treat.
Wife is happy and a big thumbs up from me.
Thanks Michael!

Horrible customer service, I called up them up to see if they had a part for my car and they answered with full confidence YES. I asked if they could physically check if the part is there and if they could send me a picture of it to make sure itās functional and working. He said ādonāt worry just come we have itā like as if I live around the corner or something.
I visited the store today and to pick up the part and it turns out the part is damaged (taillights). This is why I wanted a photo. It was a simple task that he refused to do for me and wasted my time.
