Nice park on the river, but has ticketed paid parking except for residents. Also accessible by ferry. Recommended for family picnics.

This is a very nice community-run museum all staffed by local volunteers. The displays are very interesting and if you’re into local history (pre-electric technology, an early 20th century display kitchen, etc) you should get a kick out of it. They also have a guest speaker once a month which can be very interesting. The last one was a former intelligence agent/spy who had worked at Pine Gap!

Unexpected delight. A small local museum but packed full with items across the ages, accompanied by fascinating and entertaining descriptions. A well presented museum with lovely staffs. A must see for anyone visiting Majors Bay Road.

Beautiful design playground with sea view and a nice little sandy shoreline with lots of sea shells for the children to discover (I wouldn’t recommend for swimming though). Be cautious the rocks are very slippery, my children slipped and got few cuts from the rocks.

Covered BBQ area and toilet nearby is perfect for a children birthday party.

The only thing that can be improved is they should add canvas shade to cover the playground, it is quite hot on a sunny day.

Fantastic little piece of paradise, it has been upgraded with decent paths, stairs/ramps and a great playground for young and old kids. Still has that hidden among the gumtrees feel whilst overlooking either a quiet (still natural foreshore) at yaralla estate or on the other side the hustle and bustle of parramatta river and all the boats and ferries. Always loved this park

One of our favourite place during hot day! And not too far from home.. Have BBQ area, toilet and good spaces. Maybe bring some tent/big umbrella for shade if you go there on busy time.

Big area for running, jumping, climbing, sliding and splashing. Council could add some more play equipment and sitting arrangements to make it more inviting. Beautiful waterfront. Has nice view.

Wonderful water park for kids from baby to toddler. Not big but enough. Car parking will be tricky. You need to arrive early to have a close spot. Bonus with a exciting slide for both kids and adults.
