Such a great place for the kids

Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Safe children’s equipment area, fenced off.
Only comment to make, difficult to locate toilets, which I found was in the Stadium. Fairly long walk especially if a child had to go to the toilet urgently. Suggest placing a notice near the play area as to where toilets are located.

Nice park and nice community hall
We will rent it again in the future

Nice little park behind all the hustle and bustle with two cafes near by. Dog friendly but not gated. Big trees around the perimeter so lots of areas that are shady to choose from. Some construction happening at the moment for some upgrades and just FYI, right hand side is quite bumpy so may take a little while to get comfortable for a nap!

A very pleasant space, lovely to walk through, beautiful gardens.

Just wish it was bigger. This is predominantly an off-leash dog park with a playground, but not much else. It’s central to the big high-rise apartments on the area, so the neighbourhood puppies come here as one of their only local options. It’s well kept, but the grass is often ripped up by the dogs.

Redfern Park is an oasis amongst the hectic life of the City . Beautiful setting , Palm trees , open grass field for children to play with families and a nice water fountain , which gives off the sound of running water .
Redfern itself is now expanding , retail shops, coffee shops and more which is great to see.
The park also has a Coffee shop near the Football Stadium . Also there are barbecues for family lunch .So in all , it’s a nice place to visit and have an enjoyable time .

Kid-friendly park with a decent play area. Nice shady places to sit

Very family friendly. The grounds are well maintained by Sydney City Council. There are free BBQ’S available. There are Tennis Courts you can hire, a small basketball area , cricket enclosed area as well. also a dedicated children’s play area.
You get quite a few dogs being walked around and some off leash.

There is a cafe across the road opens early closes fairly early as well. The biggest let down is that there are only 1 men’s & women’s toilet available and more often than not the female one is out of order. Great little local park with some excellent facilities. Outdoor gym, tennis courts, kids playground, bbqs, basketball ring, soccer field, even cricket nets! Such a great selection, well done council!

A wonderful park full of lots of near new equipment. Probably one of the best equipped park in the area, besides Sydney Park. Also has a half basketball court, and lots of new calisthenic equipment for adults too. Some people wont like the fact that it’s surrounded by housing commission though. But your not one of those latte sipping, better than everyone, coalition voting tossers are you?

A place for the little people also a place for the family to work out. It’s very popular with the locals

Awesome place with the dog

We like this spot when it’s not too busy. It’s very shady and feels really nice. The playground itself is small but nice variety for the kids. It is however very old and feels like a good clean or replacement of the old and dirty plates could do it well. No parking you need to walk. We loved the tall old trees feels even a bit surreal.

It is a very small park and situated beside day avenue in kensington, eastern suburbs, Sydney, New South Wales,Australia. But this park is really very small and no other facilities available except children zone. There is a bus stand beside this and 303 bus is available.

Beautiful park for exercise and dog walking. Lots of trees and seating and a tranquil water feature surrounded by apartment living.

They just built in new courts! Nice and spacious place, staff there are generally friendly. There seems to be a few issues with dustiness on the court unfortunately, might be related to the heavy winds we had on the day. It’s also pretty stuffy inside when it’s humid, but there has definitely been worse courts for those kinds of problems. I’d love if there was dedicated parking too.
