Parks are a vital part of today’s society. They provide an oasis for people to enjoy nature and get away from the stresses that we experience in our lives. Parks also provide many other benefits such as: providing us with opportunities to socialize, providing spaces for sports and activities, and providing green spaces which help clean the air around them.
This park is located near the Padstow Heights Shopping Centre. It offers a spacious grassy area for people to relax and enjoy the sun, as well as a playground with swings, monkey bars, and slides.

Good hiking experience that’s close by. The hiking trail I went on had brief periods of cool, mountain area, and arid hike, and then the general, Australian bush hike. All in the one trail! Relatively easy to moderate.
Would be careful about picnicking when it’s windy! Be sure to pick a place that doesn’t have too much bare patches of dirt.
Spotted a large goanna on our visit.

I VISITED GEORGES RIVER NATIONAL PARK FOR THE FIRST AND LAST TIME TODAY TO THE PICNIC AREA.
I WAS APPALLED WITH THE PLACE.
$8 FOR PARKING.
TOILETS LOCKED.
YOU HAVE TO WALK A FAIR WAY TO THE OTHER ONES TOWARDS ENTRANCE.
PART OF DRIVING THROUGH THERE’S A SECTION YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL YOU DONT TOUCH CARS, WHICH SHOULD BE WIDER.NARROW WHICH THEY SHOULD WIDEN.
THE WATER TO ME IS MUGGY NOT CLEAR.
HARDLY ANYONE THERE, MAYBE 2 FAMILIES.
NOTHING AT ALL EXCITING ABOUT THE PLACE. DISGUSTING!!!

Second of the major Georges River National Park walks. More challenging and longer than Yeramba Lagoon Loop in the same park. There is a Steep rocky climb up to the ridge from where you can glimpse George’s River through the trees. Fairly close to roads, so you can hear them on your walk.
Quite pretty but the landscape is the same through the whole walk. Equally sharp descent, so make sure you bring good knees.
Found a tiny beach to eat a well deserved lunch at the end.

This trail sits at the bottom of my list. Track is very short and not worth the effort of getting here plus U hear the loud noise of jetski junkies which is very unpleasant.
