The next morning I spoke to someone at reception, gave them the room number and asked for the bath to be cleaned while my room was made up. He told me he would pass the message on and ensure it was cleaned. I returned after 5pm to find that not only had the bath not been cleaned, but the room hadn’t even been made up either. When I called reception, Jessica was apologetic and after offering fresh towels she offered to swap me into a new room instead.

The room I paid for included parking and I was supposed to have a multi entry/exit ticket but it didn’t work so each time I left the hotel I had to ask someone at reception to validate the ticket. During one of these occasions, one staff member was sitting at the desk with some paperwork (mask off and licking his finger every few pages as he scrolled through them – unhygienic and unacceptable with the current Covid outbreak) and he would look up to see there were people waiting to speak to someone but instead of acknowledging us or offering to help, he would just look down and continue shuffling and stapling paper. Everyone in the queue had to wait a further 10 minutes for the other person working at the reception desk who was helping other guests.

I was looking forward to using the outdoor pool during my stay as it was very hot, but the pool was empty and there was no information about this on the hotel’s website to advise guests before booking that the pool would not be available.

Two days after checking out the hotel charged my credit card for the hotel stay AGAIN when I had paid before even arriving at the hotel. When I called the hotel to let them know, the male staff were extremely rude and apathetic. Firstly he told me it would take two weeks to receive a refund and then he said it wasn’t the Stamford’s problem and that I needed to contact Hotels.com. I have been communicating with staff from Hotels.com and they are still trying to get Stamford to refund me for wrongly charging my card twice when I had already paid for my room. The staff at Hotels.com have also told me the staff on the phone at Stamford hotel have been extremely rude to them. I am still waiting for a refund after almost 3 weeks.

That’s aside, the room was quite nice. The room service menu is quite limited and may not meet a wide variety of dietary requirements. We ended up walking 15 minutes to the supermarket for dinner snacks and preferred dinner from a local Thai restaurant.

A bonus is the airport shuttle. Within 15 minutes, we had left the hotel, checked in and cleared security. Granted, this was just before 7 am, but still convenient and quick. Would stay again but will check before if the pool and restaurants are open before booking. Stanford, please update the website, it was quite disappointing to find this out only on arrival. It felt deceiving and not a welcoming point to an otherwise very nice hotel.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Disrespectful staff and dirty facilities. I paid upfront for 2 nights using Hotels.com. When I arrived at the hotel to check in they claimed they could not find my booking details so I had to email them my confirmation email. Once the man working at reception received and read my email confirming I had already paid for the room, he assured me everything was fine and checked me in. Once I got to my room I was looking forward to having a bath but the bath was disgusting and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time.

Booked on for the night before an early flight there next day. We selected this hotel because it has been so hot and they have a pool. The restaurant also had great feedback. Sadly, both the pool and restaurants we’re closed and nothing was noted on the website at booking. I mentioned it at check-in and was simply told they aren’t open. It was quite disappointing because we could have stayed somewhere more convenient if we had known up front.

Do not stay at this hotel!!!
I booked this as a treat for my children prior to our surprise flight the following morning. When I booked I was not informed that all the amenities were not open Pool/restaurant and bar).
Upon booking in I asked about the said amenities and was only then informed all are closed.
I spoke with the staff regarding this and said you should let people know prior to booking. The response was “That’s not my problem you should have asked us what was open when you booked”.

Staff rude.. Dirty rooms… Nothing open…

Stay at the Ibis across the road.
Better value for money, nicer staff, cleaner and same amenities.

The best hotel value for money within 5km of the Sydney Airport. The front desk and staff are very professional and friendly. The room was clean, modern and the shower is great. I highly recommend the Ibis Sydney Airport for your stay.

Five stars because it was exactly what I needed out of an airport hotel if all you need is a place to stay over night and to get a flight the next day I definitely recommend this hotel food is served at the restaurant till 9pm but room service is 24 hours room was clean bed comfortable included iron and ironing table hair dryer and a fridge will definitely use this hotel if I need a place to stay before a flight next time

Stayed here in 2013.
Amazing apartment, spacious with all mod cons.
Quiet, despite Southern Cross Drive close by.
Staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming.
I needed extra days, was done immediately.
Easy access from almost anywhere.
Great base if you plan to do anything in and around Sydney.
I look forward to staying again, once lockdowns over.
I highly recommend this place.

My friend lives here. He complained about the weak wall structure. But the rest is great. Good views, top-notch infrastructure, and access to a variety of facilities.

On the upside the bed was really comfortable.

Elevator smelt like vomit, room wasn’t as clean as you would expect. Someones wet towel was still in the bathroom. No soaps or face washers available.

On the upside the bed was really comfortable.

2 stars because when you stay somewhere and pay $180 a night even for budget accommodation, you expect cleanliness.

A functional experience. Rooms are quite basic, but airy and open, and provide all necessary amenities. Numerous scratches and markings on the walls which need to be cleaned and repaired. Bathroom was sufficient and nicely presented. For a few nights stay it is a suitable option.

Inexpensive hotel very convenient for domestic airport terminals – within a 10 minute walk. There’s also a shuttle bus to domestic and international terminals. Rooms are small but functional and clean. Beds are comfortable. I have stayed here several times. Good food and bar at the Mantra next door.

The entire set up, even the last minute inside ceremony due to rain was so stunning. It could not have been better!

Our ceremony was held in the courtyard which had the vines out. We loved the reception space, which was understated and beautiful.

We got so much feedback about how delicious the food was (including multiple “best wedding food we’ve ever had”). Service at the reception was genuinely good without being over the top. We loved that the venue’s staff were relaxed, chilled out but still the ultimate professionals.

In the planning process, we dealt with Amanda. Amanda is a superstar, she was super responsive to all of our questions. She sent us a sample run sheet, gave us pointers on our run sheet amendments and was completely on top of everything. We had a completely stress-free planning process with Three Blue Ducks as Amanda was on top of it all!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at 3BD! It was the the absolute best night ever! Amanda was so incredible at making sure everything went along as planned. Our dog Ollie was even able to be a part of the day!

Very helpful staff and overall a reasonable place to stay for a few days. Stayed 4 nights in 1bed apt. Furnishing in the rooms is fine. Laundry in bathroom with top loader and dryer. Detergent provided. Mattress/bed too soft. Kitchen well fitted out for making own meals full fridge and dishwasher. Good size living area for 2 people. May get crowded with more.

Hello. It’s a beautiful hotel however we came back to no running hot water and our room had not been cleaned. The service was polite but they had told us they would find a carpark for us and they had never arranged one. Reception Didn’t really seem to care.

Very convenient location but hard to get during peak time due to the heavy traffic around Mascot/ Alexandria area. Their data centre has all services for all your needs but it has aged. Does not feel they area catching with the newer DCs such as Next DC.

Horrible experience when purchasing a new car, and then horrible experience servicing it. Ripped me off by paying full price on a demo model car….. found out later, they have no remorse. Servicing was horrid, I decided to go elsewhere after one service. I do not recommend buying from here.

Always a 4 out of 5. Sometimes they are out of some meat. Sometimes they have some meat. Delicious meats they have though. I have shopped here for years and never gotten anything other than a 4 out of 5. Sometimes, they don’t have enough of the meat specials and have had to skimp on one or two, but that’s okay for me because today they had mini pigs, probably piglets, vacuum sealed whole. And that was nice.

It was so simple booked it online and took it in for the service which was great John Cummins explained what he is going to do and explains how much it will cost before they did anything..

Easy drop off. Used the lounge to work and wait for my car. Team were helpful and clear on the work being carried out. Only issue no coffee or cafe close by that was open.

Overall a great experience with East Coast. Communication was fantastic and the car we hired did the job and when comparing prices with companies that are located at the airport, it’s a great cost cutting option. One fault was that they didn’t receive my communication about our delayed flight which caused some issues and unnecessary worry for us. Luckily they were very accommodating and were able to solve the problem pretty quickly.

Used this company a couple of times and thought they were different to the other off-airport cowboys. How wrong I was. They magically found a small scratch on one of the alloy wheels (3cm long) which I could almost remove with my finger. I had not touched a curb and there were no marks on the tyre next to the scratch. Charged me $275 to “repair” the scratch. They are cowboys, stay well away. I almost think they put the mark on themselves to get a Christmas bonus. Ridiculous. Stay well away

Zero accountability taken for delivery of damaged goods.

Very poor communication/transparency about stock levels & despatch times when ordering.

Every single order I’ve placed has had issues requiring multiple calls/emails to resolve (if resolved at all).

Well, it appears your double dipping of money for a product Isabelle Love-Dack purchased off you to help her community has become topic of conversation in the Alfred Hospital Emergency break room. For those reading this its the RAT tests that are near impossible to get from chemists currently. She lost a child to something that could have been so easily prevented by the grandmother and is now a single mother to a little girl that she raises alone. Its because of this she really has taken it upon herself to help her community when they helped her and because she works for the ABC she often will give them out of pocket across the city to people in need or who cannot afford to find out if they are suffering from the disease.Journalists keep approaching her regarding you not admitting fault and returning the money you took out a second time only two weeks after first (and only – she was very clear it was a once off purchase) payment. But she is saying that she will wait and hope that you do the right thing before making the situation ‘messy’. I for one hope it doesn’t get to that stage like these other comments i see below. do the right thing Livingstone.

High prices with terrible service.

Zero accountability taken for delivery of damaged goods.

Very poor communication/transparency about stock levels & dispatch times when ordering.

Every single order I’ve placed has had issues requiring multiple calls/emails to resolve (if resolved at all).

Once the rest of my current order eventually arrives I won’t be giving this business my business’ money ever again. Three bad experiences in less than 6 months of buying from them is more than enough.

Ordered 15 pillows sent us 15 Anko Kmart Pillows ( in kmart boxes) valued at $4.25 for a two pack then charged us $21 per pillow. Arranged to get them collected and replaced. Sent us the same cheap K mart pillows in their branded boxes. One pillow has makeup marks on it. The mind boggles.

Great showroom and wonderful products, however they unfortunately fail to actually deliver the furniture to you!! We specifically asked whether the chair we bought was in stock and were told (with a smirk) that of course it was. 8 MONTHS on we still don’t have our piece and the only updates we get are when we send multiple emails to ask about the status. Not sure who manages their supply chain and customer service, however I’d strongly recommend to think about hiring professionals. Might do the trick

Caine was very helpful in selecting several pieces of furniture for our home. The showroom is beautiful although can get very busy on weekends, expect to wait a little while to chat to a consultant. That said, it will be worth it once you do!
